About ToNobody

What is ToNobody?

ToNobody is a quiet place to write the letters you will never send. Some things are not meant to be sent. They are meant to be written. Whether it is something you need to say to an ex, your boss, family, or yourself, this is a place to write it quietly, without consequences, and without anyone knowing it was you.

Our Values

  • Anonymous

We don't require accounts, emails, or any personal information. Your messages are completely anonymous.
  • No replies

Messages are one-way. There are no comments, no replies, no engagement. Just expression.
  • Be kind

While you're anonymous, we still ask you to be respectful. This space is for everyone.

What We're Not

ToNobody is not therapy, and it's not social media. We're not here to provide professional mental health support, and we're not here to build a community or network. We're simply a space to write what you need to write.

If you're experiencing a mental health crisis, please reach out to a professional or contact a crisis line: call or text 988 (US), or text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line).

Privacy & Safety

We take privacy seriously. Messages are stored anonymously, and we use technical measures to prevent abuse while maintaining your anonymity. We have content moderation in place to keep the space safe, and we encourage reporting anything that violates our guidelines.

Your messages are yours alone. We don't track you, we don't profile you, and we don't share your data. This is a space for honest expression, protected by anonymity.

A few quiet questions

01.

Why create a place for unsent messages?

read

Sometimes we need to say things that cannot or should not be sent. Writing them down helps, even when no one reads them. ToNobody gives those words a place to exist.

02.

Do you store any personal information?

read

No accounts, no emails, no tracking. We use a technical fingerprint only to prevent spam. It cannot identify you. Your letters are stored anonymously.

03.

Can I delete my letter after placing it?

read

Letters cannot be withdrawn from the archive since there is no way to prove ownership. This is intentional. Once released, the letter exists separately from you.

04.

How is this different from social media?

read

No profiles, no followers, no likes (just a quiet countersign), no replies, no algorithms. It's a quiet space, not a platform.
